Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove propeller shaft from rear axle differential, swivel to one side and fix in place on vehicle.

Remove brake caliper with connected brake hoses and hang to one side free of tension.

 The coupling housing for the brake pad wear sensor must be removed from the right brake caliper.

 The electrical connections on the actuator motors of the electric parking brake must be detached.

Remove rear shock absorbers.

Remove bolts (3) from rpm sensors.

 Bolt, rpm sensor to wheel carrier

Remove right and left screws (2).

Remove brackets (4) at right and left with rpm sensors and electric lines, let them hang down at one side and fix in place.

Remove rear axle springs.

Unclip electric lines from holders for level sensors.

If installed.

Disconnect electrical connectors from level sensors and hang electric lines to one side.

If installed.

Remove screws (5) from stop plates (6).

Position lifting platform with support (10) onto rear axle (9) and secure with tensioning strap.



Unscrew screws (7) of front elastomer bearings and remove stop plates (6).


Do not use an impact wrench.
Otherwise, the threads will be damaged.

 Installation: Use compressed air to clean thread in frame floor assembly and check for correct seating of threaded inserts.

Remove screws (8) of rear elastomer bearings.


Do not use an impact wrench.
Otherwise, the threads will be damaged.

 Installation: Clean thread in frame floor assembly using compressed air only, and check or correct seating of threaded inserts.

Lower rear axle (9) until the electrical connector of the electronic locking differential is accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector of electronic locking differential.

Lower rear axle (9).

 Installation: Check, whether cavity preservation was performed on the rear axle carrier.

If not,



Perform cavity preservation.
