Raise vehicle.

Mount front wheel using 3 wheel nuts.

Lower vehicle until front wheel touches the ground.

Unscrew nut(14).

Remove front wheel.

Disconnect rpm sensor electrical connector and remove electric line from vehicle frame.

Remove brake caliper with connected brake hose from brake caliper support and secure on vehicle to prevent it from falling down.

Remove tie rod joint(9) from steering knuckle(10).

Prop up steering knuckle(10) using major assembly support and support plate.

Remove suspension strut(5).

Remove upper transverse control arm from steering knuckle(10).

Tilt steering knuckle(10) to one side and pull front axle shaft(4) out of wheel hub.

 Aid of helper required.

Remove front axle shaft(4) from front axle differential(1).

 Aid of helper required.

Secure steering knuckle(10) on upper transverse control arm against tilting over.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring at side from front axle differential(1).

Check axle boots of front axle shaft(4) for damage and leakage.

If damage or leaks are visible on axle boots of front axle shaft (4):



Replace front axle shaft (4).



Install

Install new radial shaft sealing ring at side on front axle differential (1).

Insert front axle shaft(4) into front axle differential(1).


Carefully insert front axle shaft(4) into front axle differential(1).
Otherwise the radial shaft sealing ring will get damaged.

Release steering knuckle(10).

Insert front axle shaft(4) into wheel hub.

 Aid of helper required.

Tight nut(14) lightly by hand.

Mount upper transverse control arm onto steering knuckle(10).

Install suspension strut(5).

Mount tie rod joint(9) onto steering knuckle(10).

Release brake caliper and mount onto brake caliper support.

Attach electrical line of front rpm sensor at vehicle frame and connect electrical connector.

Mount front wheel using 3 wheel nuts.

Lower vehicle with vehicle lift until front wheel touches ground.

Tighten nut (14).

Install new cotter pin (13).
