Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove front wheel.

Remove steering coupling from steering gear.

When removing the transverse control arm (3) on the driver's side.

Remove cotter pin (1).

 Installation: Replace cotter pin(1).

Unscrew nut (2).

 Nut, steering knuckle to upper supporting joint

Remove transverse control arm (3) from steering knuckle (4).

Secure steering knuckle (4) against tipping.

Remove transverse control arm (3).

 To do this, remove the bolts (5). Counterhold nuts of screws (5).

 Installation: Replace nuts of screws (5).

Check elastomer bearing and supporting joint at transverse control arm (3) for wear and damage.

If corresponding findings are present,



Replace transverse control arm(3).

Install in the reverse order.
