5 | Remove shim (10) and cylinder pin (6) from rear transmission housing | ||

6 | Clean all parts | ||

7 | Check all components for wear and condition | If there are problems | |

8 | Determine shim (10) for oil pump | When replacing components of the oil pump or of the rear transmission housing. | |
Axial play of oil pump housing | |||
9 | Install shim (10) and cylinder pin (6) in rear transmission housing | ||
10 | Install inner oil pump housing (9) in rear transmission housing | ||
11 | Attach impeller (8) and ring gear (7) in succession to countershaft | ||
12 | Install outer oil pump housing (5) in rear transmission housing | Observe installation position of outer oil pump housing (5). | |
13 | Install hydrodynamic retarder |
