Drain off

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling.

Remove oil filler screw (2).

Drain transmission oil into suitable container.

 To do so, remove drain screw (1). Change transmission oil when transmission is at operating temperature only.

Screw in drain screw (1).

 Replace seal.

Pour in

Add transmission oil until it exits at the oil filler screw hole (3).

 Collect escaping transmission oil.

Screw in oil filler screw (2).

 Replace oil filler screw (2).



Clean

Clean area surrounding oil filler screw (2) and drain screw (1).

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check for leak tightness when engine is running.

 Visual inspection only.

Install lower engine compartment lining.
