Remove/install

Mount engine hoist and raise engine slightly

Only raise engine sufficiently until the engine mounts (5) are not under tension.
Otherwise, the engine mount (5) will be damaged.

Remove left catalytic converter

Remove right catalytic converter

Remove screw/bolts (4)

Remove steering coupling

Remove screw/bolts (1) and remove heat shields (6)

Raise engine further with engine hoist

Ensure that during lifting that no cables and lines lie on the partition wall.
Damage can occur to cables and lines otherwise.

Remove screws/bolts (2) at left and right engine mount (5)

 Bolt, front engine mount to engine support

Remove left and right engine mounts (5) to the rear

 Always replace engine mount (5) in pairs.

 Pay attention to environmental regulations for disposal of engine mounts (5). Dispose of engine mounts (5) into mixed scrap.

 Installation: Ensure that the correct installation position is obtained when assembling the engine mount (5).
