5 | Open the top right rear maintenance flap (10) of the vehicle | ||
6 | Detach the fresh air hose (2) | Only in the area of the coolant expansion reservoir (1). | |
7 | Detach coolant hose (4) | ||
8 | Disconnect plug and socket connection (5) | ||
9 | Detach coolant hose (6) and coolant hose (7) | ||
10 | Remove bolt (3) | ||
11 | Remove screw (8) | ||
12 | Unscrew bolts (13). | ||
13 | Shift the hydraulic fluid expansion reservoir (9) to the side | ||
14 | Detach the coolant expansion reservoir (1) from the hydraulic fluid expansion reservoir (9) | ||
15 | Remove the coolant expansion reservoir (1) | ||
16 | Install in the reverse order | ||

17 | Start engine and run for about 1 minute at varying speeds | ||
18 | Switch off engine and top up coolant | ||
19 | Crank the engine and allow it to run until the coolant has reached operating temperature | ||
20 | Switch off engine and allow to cool down | Let the engine cool off until the coolant temperature is about 50 °C. | |
