Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Open hood.

 See information from body manufacturer.

Drain off coolant.



Remove coolant hoses (3, 4) from radiator (1).

Remove oil lines (5, 6) from radiator (1) and collect escaping transmission oil in suitable container.

Only for vehicles with code G50 (Oil cooler)

 Installation:
Counterhold fittings at radiator (1) when tightening oil lines (5, 6).
Radiator (1) can otherwise be damaged.

 Oil line to fitting

Seal oil lines (5, 6) and fittings at radiator (1) with suitable stop plugs.

Unscrew screws (2) and remove radiator (1).

 Nut radiator to holder at top

 Nut, engine radiator to mounting console

Modify fan shroud and air duct segment.

If radiator (1) will be replaced.

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check, correct coolant level.



Check/correct oil level in transmission via filling screw.

Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.
