Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Drain off coolant.

Remove toothed belt.

Remove bracket (1).

 To do this, remove screws (2).

 Bolt, holder of toothed belt covers to crankcase/coolant pump

Remove coolant pump (5).

 To do this, remove screws/bolts (3). Collect coolant which flows out.

 Installation: Install new coolant pump (5).

 Bolt, coolant pump to crankcase

Remove upper part of the seal (4).

 To do this, disconnect upper part of the seal (4) at the ribs (arrows) from the lower part and remove from crankcase. The lower part of the seal (4) remains installed on the front crankcase cover.

 Installation: Cut new seal (4) to size accordingly and install.



Clean

Clean sealing surface on crankcase.


Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper.
The sealing surface will otherwise be damaged.

Install in the reverse order.
