Disassemble

Remove water pump

Remove the flange (1) using the puller (7)

Remove water pump housing (4) lock ring (2)

Remove the axle with integrated bearing (3) of water pump housing (4) and rotor (6)

 Press the axle with integrated bearing (3) using an appropriate assembly pin.

Remove the sliding sealing (5)



Check

Check all the components for damage and/or wear, if necessary replace

 Replace the pieces that are worn out.



Assemble

Install the axle with integrated bearing (3) on water pump housing (4)

 Press the bearing (3) supporting on the outer race.

Install the lock-ring (2)

 Warning

Risk of injury. Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.

Heat the flange (1) and press it against the axle with integrated bearing (3)

 To avoid damaging the bearing, press the flange with the axle resting on a flat surface.

Install the new sliding seal (5)

Install the rotor (6)

Manually rotate the pump by the flange (1) and check the smoothness of movement

Install the water pump

Remove/install coolant pump
