 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove

Remove cap from expansion reservoir.

Remove lower engine compartment paneling.

Drain off

Slide drain hose onto fitting (2).

Open drain valve and collect coolant in a suitable container.

 Only open drain valve to extent that coolant can drain out.

Close drain valve.

Remove drain hose.

Remove coolant hose (1) from low-temperature circuit cooler and catch escaping coolant in a suitable container.

Attach coolant hose (1) to low-temperature circuit cooler.

Remove coolant hose (3) from oil cooler and collect escaping coolant in a suitable container.

Attach coolant hose (3) to oil cooler.

Pour in

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.
