Connect up diagnostic system and read data from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) into Star Diagnosis. | |||
Installation: Transfer stored data to new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |||
2 | Switch off ignition | ||
3 | Remove battery cover (5) | ENGINE 133 in MODEL 117, 156, 176 | |
4 | Expose electrical wiring harness (6) at air filter housing (4) and place to one side | ENGINE 133 in MODEL 117, 156, 176 | |
Do not disconnect electrical connection (7). | |||
5 | Disconnect electrical connections (1, 2) on ME-SFI control unit (N3/10) | ||
6 | Open retaining clamps (3) and remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) from air filter housing (4) | Check seal between air filter housing (4) and ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) for damage and replace if necessary. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Perform sensor rotor adaptation with diagnostic system | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |
