Clamp nozzle holder (37) for the injection nozzle in a vise and remove nozzle tensioning nut (35)


 Use protective jaws.

Remove and disassemble injection nozzle from the vise

 Do not swap around components for the various injection nozzles

Clean nozzle needle (31) and nozzle body (32) sing a brass brush

Perform visual and sliding inspection

 Dip nozzle needle (31) and nozzle body (32) in the filtered diesel fuel.

For a nozzle body (32) held vertically the nozzle needle (31) must slide under its own weight in the direction of the nozzle needle seat,  if necessary

Replace nozzle needle (31) and nozzle body (32)
 The nozzle needle (31) and nozzle body (32) of the individual injection nozzles must not be swapped around and may only be replaced in pairs

Detach intermediate disk (33) on a surface plates on both sides

Assemble injection nozzle



Check injection nozzle again

 If the ejection pressure is found to be too low or there is an impermissibly large difference in the ejection pressure of the individual injection nozzles

adjust the ejection pressure of the injection nozzles. To do this disassemble injection nozzle and replace washer (40)
There is a pressure difference of about 3 bar per 0.05 mm of washer thickness
A thicker washer: ejection pressure increases
A thinner washer: ejection pressure decreases
