Remove

Remove clutch.

Remove dual-clutch transmission.

Attach retaining lock.

Remove flywheel (1) from the crankshaft.

 To do this, remove screws (2).

Remove retaining lock.

Check

5

Check ring gear of flywheel (1) for damage.

If flywheel (1) is damaged:



Replace flywheel (1).

Check starter drive pinion for damage.

If starter drive pinion is damaged:



Replace starter.

Check radial shaft sealing ring for leak tightness.

If radial shaft sealing ring is leaky:



Replace radial shaft sealing ring.

Install

Attach flywheel (1) to crankshaft.

 Slightly manually screw in screws (2). Do not tighten screw/bolts (2) yet.

Attach retaining lock.

Tighten screws (2).

Remove retaining lock.
