Install retaining lock for starter ring gear

Unscrew center bolt (4)



Remove vibration damper (1) from crankshaft

 Installation: Check vibration damper (1) for galling or damage; replace vibration damper (1) if necessary.

Die The installation position of vibration damper (1) is defined by the feather key.

Replace front radial shaft sealing ring

Install in the reverse order

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check engine in the area of the vibration damper (1) for leaks
