Removing

Remove belt pulley/vibration damper

Pry radial shaft sealing ring (1) out of timing case cover with suitable tool

 Do not damage mounting hole for radial shaft sealing ring (1); use clean rag as base to ensure that the radial shaft sealing ring (1) is tight.



Install

Install radial shaft sealing ring (1)

Checking

Check engine oil level, correct if necessary

 The engine oil level must not be above the maximum mark. This can lead to engine damage.


