Remove glow output stage and lay with attached electrical lines outside the working area

Loosen poly-V belt (1)

When carrying out further operations on engine or timing case cover, relieve tensioning device (2).

Checking

Check poly-V belt (1) for wear and damage

If necessary replace poly-V belt (1)

Check clamping device (2) with belt pulley for damage

Replace tensioning device (2) if necessary.
