| Remove/install | ||
1 | Release washer fluid reservoir for windshield washer system, remove upwards and out of the guide and place to one side with lines and hoses attached | ||
2 | Slacken poly-V belt and remove from power steering pump (1) | ||
| Pin for locking poly-V belt tensioning device | ||
3 | Check poly-V belt for wear and damage; replace if necessary | ||
4 | Clamp off hose with clamp (2) | Clamp | |
5 | Disconnect hose (2) from power steering pump (1) | Installation: Check the hose (2) and hose clamp for damage; replace if necessary. | |
6 | Disassemble high-pressure hose (3) from the power steering pump (1) and seal using a suitable stop plug | Collect escaping hydraulic oil. | |
