1 | Remove transmission. | ||
2 | Install retaining lock for crankshaft / starter ring gear. | ||
3 | Loosen screws (1–8). | | |
4 | Remove screws (1–8) and remove flywheel/drive plate (9). | Aid of helper required. | |
5 | Check rear radial shaft sealing ring for leak tightness and damage. | If problems exist, | |

Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring. | |||
| Install | ||
6 | Position flywheel/drive plate (9) on crankshaft. | Aid of helper required. | |
The dowel pin of the crankshaft determines the installation position of the flywheel/drive plate (9). | |||
7 | Slightly tighten screws (1–8) by hand and tighten in numerical order as per the figure. | ||
