Remove/install

Remove engine with transmission (1).

Remove the catalytic converter.

Remove filler pipe from transmission (1).

Remove starter (M1).

Remove transmission oil cooling coolant circulation pump (M13/7).

Remove bolts from holder (6) then remove holder (6).

Remove bolts (2, 3).

Mount lifting device onto transmission (1).

Attach boom crane to lifting device and lift up transmission (1) slightly.

Remove engine support fixture from transmission.

Remove bolts (4, 7) then remove transmission (1).

Aid of helper required.

Remove cooling module for transmission cooling.

If the transmission (1) is replaced.

Apply thin coating of long-life grease around journal of dual clutch on splined shaft.

When installing.

Clean journal of dual clutch on splined shaft and guide.

Assembly cleaner

Check dowel pins in transmission (1) for damage and tight seating, replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check oil level of transmission (1), correct if necessary.
