Remove starter (M1).

When work is performed with installed transmission.

Rotate the engine at the center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation and check the toothing of the starter ring gear (1) for wear or damage.

With installed transmission.

Replace drive plate.

Check the starter ring gear (1) for wear or damage.

With removed transmission.

If there are problems,



Replace drive plate.

Insert retaining lock (01) in starter opening until it engages with the starter ring gear (1).

With installed transmission.

Install the retaining lock (02) on the crankcase.
