Due to recent events we would point out new operation items and changed repair methods for corrosion in the area of the rear floor between the longitudinal member and rear fender.
The repair operations have been subdivided into 2 stages.
STAGE 1
Remove corrosion. In the process the bumper bracket is removed and replaced by a new one. The new bracket is obtained from the repair panel.
Stage 2
The repair panel is replaced complete.
Here welding is dispensed with for reason of the better corrosion protection.
The times allowed for any disassembly operations of detachable parts are not taken into account in the operation items.
Operation item 601442 should be used for embellishing parts and detachable parts.
In the case of stage 2 on model 210.2 the removal and installation of the fuel tank is required on the right-hand side. Cost settlement takes place via the standard operation values.
The flat rates and WIS documentation are released with the CD 01/2008.
