Fabricate coolant hoses for connecting to cooling and heating circuit

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Fit remaining parts to vehicle

Pour collected coolant into coolant expansion tank and replace expansion tank cap

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury as working around the engine during start-up or while running may result in contusions and burns

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving off by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and allow to run at varying speeds for approx. 1 minute

Switch off engine and check coolant level, replenish coolant if necessary



Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Switch on water heater as described in operating instructions and perform function test as described in manufacturer's instructions

 Inspect fuel lines and connections for signs of leaks during function check.

 Bleeding is only necessary if during a function check a shutdown on faults occurs due to overheating.
