1 | Remove plugs from rear wall of cab | ||
2 | Hook safety cable (2) onto rear wall of cab and fasten to longitudinal vehicle frame (1) | ||
Danger! | Injury hazard from pinching and crushing when cab is tilted | When tilting ensure that no one is present in the tilting area of the cab. Always tilt cab to end position and secure with safety brace. | |
3 | Tilt cab | ||
4 | Where applicable mark and remove hydraulic lines (10) from tilt cylinder | Place reservoir beneath to catch hydraulic oil running out. | |
5 | Remove cotter pin (11) from mount on vehicle longitudinal frame member | Remove washer (12) | |
6 | Remove cab mount bolt (4) from tilt cylinder and remove mount elements (6) | Version 1: Cotter pin with washer (5). | |
7 | Remove tilt cylinder (8) | Installation: To extend new tilt cylinder to installation position, attach it to mount on longitudinal vehicle frame member and connect both hydraulic lines. The tilt cylinder can be extended as required with the aid of the tilt mechanism. | |
8 | Remove mount element (9) from tilt cylinder | Check mount element for wear (arrows), replace if necessary. | |
9 | Reinstall in reverse order | ||
10 | Unscrew plug from tilt mechanism and fill tilt mechanism up to top with hydraulic oil | ||
11 | Bleed tilt mechanism | Tilt cab back and then forward again. The plug in the tilt mechanism must be open for bleeding. | |
12 | Check oil level in tilt mechanism again | If the oil level is too low | |
Add hydraulic oil up to top. | |||
13 | Check connections on tilt cylinder for leakage | ||
14 | Tilt cab back, remove safety cable and install plug in rear wall of cab |
