Danger!

Risk of injury caused by being caught or pinched as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Remove relay lever (1) from relay lever bracket (7) and remove from the telescopic shift rod

Remove bracket for reversing lever (7) on transmission housing

Remove bracket for shift control damper (3) on transmission housing

Gearshift lever bracket (4)

Unscrew nut on ball head (5) and push ball head (5) out of gearshift lever cone

Use a suitable puller if necessary.

Install

Attach relay lever (7) to transmission housing

Check and grease needle bearing (1.1) in reversing lever (1)

If necessary install new needle roller bearing

Attach relay lever (1) to relay lever bracket (7) and to the telescopic shift rod

The bracket on the linkage must engage in the guide slot in the relay
lever (1).

Secure bolt (6) in relay lever bracket (7) with locking agent.

Install bracket for shift control damper (3) on transmission housing

Attach gearshift level bracket (4) for supporting the gearshift lever

Install ball head (5)

Shift transmission through all gears

Ensure adequate operational clearance for all shift-mechanism components.
