Disassemble shift mechanism

Remove grub screws (8) from notch lever (1)

Heat up the grub screws (8) in the notch lever (1) beforehand using a hot air gun.

Assemble:

Do not coat grub screws (8) yet with locking agent, only tighten slightly.

Remove bolt (5) from detent segment (7)

Assemble:

Coat the thread of the bolt (5) with locking agent.

Press notch lever (1) off seat in detent segment (7) and remove

Assemble:

Assembly: Insert the notch lever (1) so that the holes for the grub screws (8) accurately align with the holes in the gearshift tube (12).

Pull catch bolt (4) and both compression springs (2, 3) out of the notch lever (1)

Remove outer bearing cap (9) from gearshift tube (12)

Assemble:

Before the gearshift tube (12) is pushed into the outer bearing cap (9) a collar bolt must be inserted in the upper left hole. This collar bolt serves the fixing of the outer bearing cap (9) still to be installed.

Press detent segment (7) out of outer bearing cover (9)

Press radial sealing ring (11) out of the outer bearing cap (9) using a screwdriver

Assemble:

Drive in new radial sealing ring (11) using a suitable drift.

Drive needle roller bearing (10) out of the outer bearing cap (9) using a suitable drift

Remove retaining ring (18) out of the gearshift tube (12)

Remove in sequence the washer (16), short spring (17), second washer (16), bush (15), long spring (14) and small washer (13)

Assemble:

Grease the bushing (15) lightly.

Clean all parts, check for wear and replace if necessary

Assemble in the reverse order
