| Remove/install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition. | ||
2 | Remove air intake hose (1) from intake manifold and air pipe. | ||
3 | Remove coolant container delivery hose clamp (2) from chassis clamp. | ||
4 | Remove clamp (3) from chassis. | Clamp to chassis | |
5 | Remove suction hose (4) from the air compressor. | ||
6 | Remove fuel pump metering unit socket (5). | | |
7 | Remove fuel injector wiring harness mounting clamp (6) from fuel pump. | ||
8 | Remove fuel inlet and outlet pipe mounting clamp (7) from flywheel. | ||
9 | Remove fuel suction pipe by removing banjo bolt (8) with washer from fuel pump. | ||
10 | Remove fuel return pipe banjo bolt (10) with washer from common rail. | Remove fuel over flow hose clip (9) before removing fuel return pipe. | |

11 | Remove fuel return pipe banjo bolt (11) with washer from fuel pump and remove the fuel return pipe. | ||
12 | Remove fuel pump delivery pipe clamp (12). | Install fuel pump delivery pipe clamp | |
13 | Remove fuel delivery pipe (13) from fuel pump. | ||
14 | Remove fuel pressure line (14) from common rail. | ||
15 | Remove bracket (15) from engine block housing. | ||
16 | Remove fuel pump bottom mounting bracket (16). | ||
17 | Remove fuel pump (17) from air compressor by removing the mounting nuts (3 nos). | Fuel pump to air compressor | |
18 | Install in reverse order. | ||

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
