Removing, installing

Remove poly V-belt

Remove cylinder head cover

Disconnect ground cable at battery

Unbolt retaining plate (13) at fuel filter and detach fuel pipes

5

Detach fuel pipes at 1st injection nozzle

6

Remove bracket together with fuel filter



Detach accelerator control cable, attach

Remove injection pipes of inline injection pump

Detach vacuum pipes at vacuum pump, connect

Detach vacuum pipes at pneumatic idle speed increase, vacuum unit for engine stop and thermovalve (arrows)

Unplug connector (17) from the thermal sensor

 Cable is disturbance when taking out injection pump

Remove vacuum pump (18)

 Position engine to TDC. The vacuum pump is not tensioned by the spring in this position.

Remove chain tensioner

Remove dished washer of injection timing device

Unscrew hexagon bolt (1) at supporting bracket of injection pump



Unscrew bolts attaching injection pump and take off four-point nuts

 Bolts have different lengths

 Installing: remove  blocking screw



Pull out injection pump

 Tilt the rear end up and lift injection pump up and out

 Installing: the securing holes should be centered relative to the slots on the flange

Take off adjusting bolt (7) at the crankcase

 Installing: insert adjusting bolt into pump flange before installing the injection pump



Install in the reverse order
