| Quickly heat-up the ring gear (1) and remove it under pressure
| Use the required safety equipments when handling heated parts.
|
|
|
|
| During the heating with a torch, avoid the stationary flame on the ring gear.
|
|

| Measure the diameter (B) of the ring gear housing (1) in the flywheel (2)

| Heat the new rack (1)
| Use the required safety equipments when handling heated parts.
|

|
|
| Heat the new ring gear(1) until it reaches the recommended temperature for installation.
|
|
|
|
| The heating must not be performed with a torch.
