When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Release door from outside

 See Operating Instructions

Danger!

Risk of accident as vehicle may start off by itself with the engine running. Risk of injury as working around the engine during start-up or while running may result in contusions and burns

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and fill compressed air system

 As an alternative, the compressed air system can be filled from an external source.

Required operating pressure must be ensured over entire time of test.

Open doors by actuating front passenger door pushbutton switch (1) and rear passenger door pushbutton switch (2)

 The indicator lamps in the pushbutton switch and in the instrument cluster (7) should come on.

With code B21 (Automatic frequent-stop brake with start-off lock), the start-off lock should activate and the start-off lock indicator lamp (4) should come on.

Close doors by actuating front passenger door pushbutton switch (1) and rear passenger door pushbutton switch (2)

 When the doors are fully closed, the indicator lamps in the pushbutton switch and in the instrument cluster (7) go out.

5.1

Open front door wing on front passenger door by actuating pushbutton switch (3)

With single door wing actuation (special equipment).

 The indicator lamps in the pushbutton switch and in the instrument cluster (7) should come on.

6.1

Close front door win on front passenger door by actuating pushbutton switch (3)

With single door wing actuation (special equipment).

 When the doors are fully closed, the indicator lamps in the pushbutton switch and in the instrument cluster (7) go out.

7.1

Release start-off lock by actuating accelerator pedal

With code B21.

Start-off lock indicator lamp (4) should go out.



Inner emergency cock actuation

Swing up sealed cover (5)

Turn emergency cock (6) above door to right against stop with door closed

 The door should open automatically and the indicator lamp in the associated pushbutton switch should come on.

The warning buzzer should sound when the engine is running.

If the operating pressure is insufficient, it should be possible to push open the door from the inside and pull it open from the outside.

Turn emergency cock (6) back to initial position

Replace seal on cover (5)



Reversing system

Open doors by pressing passenger door pushbutton switch, close again and press in the gasket on the front door wing during closing operation

 The door should return to the open position (reverse).

Close doors and hold test piece between door and door frame at height of middle of the door

 The door should return to the open position (reverse). The reversing device should remain in operation until the doors are 30 mm in front of the completely closed position.





Repeat test with test piece approx. 150 mm above the door bottom edge

 The door should be turned to the open position (reverse).

Open doors and hold single door wing during opening operation

 The door wings should stop and it should be possible to move them by hand.The individual lamps in the corresponding pushbutton switch and in the instrument cluster should come on.

Close doors by actuating the corresponding pushbutton switch.

 The indicator lamps in the pushbutton switch and in the instrument cluster should go out.
