Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove clutch line (1).

 Collect escaping brake fluid.

 Commercially available tools

Seal clutch slave cylinder and clutch line (1).

 To do this  use a set of stop plugs.

Remove bracket (2)   .

 For this purpose, remove screws.

 Installation: Check intermediate rubber layers for wear.

If intermediate rubber layers are damaged,



Replace intermediate rubber layers.

Remove bracket (2.1).
 

 Removal: Mark installation location of screws.

 Installation: Observe the screw markings.

 The bolts have different shank lengths.

 For this purpose, remove screws.

Support transmission on integral carrier.

 To do so, use a suitable wooden block (3).

Unscrew screws on engine mount (5) from transmission   .

Mark installation position of transmission crossmember (4)

 The mounting holes are arranged asymmetrically.

Remove transmission crossmember (4) together with engine mount (5)   .

 Installation: Observe markings on transmission crossmember (4).

If installation position of transmission crossmember (4) is not correct,



reposition transmission crossmember (4).

Install in the reverse order.
