The FleetBoard allows permanent data exchange between vehicle and freight forwarder.
All vehicle data available on the CAN bus (interlinkage of electronic systems installed in vehicle) is collected and transmitted to FleetBoard server per modem. There, they are available for the freight forwarder, via Internet, at any time.
Vehicle data (e.g. DTC memory) or the geographical position of the vehicle can be called up on request. In addition, it is always possible to illustrate the current vehicle position, on a digital map, via the global positioning system (GPS).
The freight forwarder can transmit information to the driver via the FleetBoard. The message appears automatically on the instrument cluster display of the vehicle.
