We would hereby like to notify you that the settlement process for lost refund value is simplified for non-transportable high-voltage batteries.
A new settlement process is available with immediate effect.
This process replaces the former transition process.
The addition damage type "DT" exists for damage code "54719 high-voltage battery". On the basis of this damage type, the dealer can settle the lost refund value via ancillary costs in VEGA. The additional logistics and disposal costs that have arisen are the responsibility of the respective GV or the MPC and cannot be settled via "DT".
Proof that the battery is not transportable is absolutely necessary. The XENTRY diagnosis printout "HV battery not transportable" must be attached to the damage "DT". Proof of disposal of the non-transportable high-voltage battery must be stored in a tamperproof manner by the dealer.
As previously, the technical damage is settled via the technical damage code (wage and material).
