	CHECK-ENGINE malfunction indicator lamp function	The indicator lamp is actuated by the engine control unit at the ground end or by the instrument cluster (via CAN - Message). To check the function of the incandescent lamp, the lamp is lit on ignition ON and for approx. 1 second as of an engine speed of approx. 500 rpm. If there is no fault, the indicator lamp goes off.
