1	Drain oil from retarder and determine oil quantity
	Retarder - checking, correcting oil level		AP43.30-W-4310A
2	Remove heat exchanger		AR43.30-W-0006B
3	Remove retarder proportioning valve		AR43.30-W-0001A
4	Remove bracket (12)
5	Detach oil reservoir (1) and remove O-rings (2 and 4)
6	Remove exhaust valve (3) and O-ring (5) from the retarder housing (6)	 Observe installation position of exhaust valve.
	Install
7	Install new O-ring (5) and exhaust valve (3) in retarder housing (6)	 Check exhaust valve (3) for ease of movement, ensure that it is not tilted and replace if necessary.
		 Observe installation position of exhaust valve and turn into position if necessary.
8	Insert O-rings (2 and 4) into the grooves	 Replace O-rings and coat with Vaselinebefore installing.	*BR00.45-Z-1015-06A
9	Mount oil reservoir (1) on the retarder housing (6) and tighten	 Replace stretch bolt (7).

11	Install retarder proportioning valve		AR43.30-W-0001A
12	Install heat exchanger		AR43.30-W-0006B
