Switch off ignition

Discharge compressed-air system

Open maintenance flap

Remove trim grille from front end

Pull out master cylinder with attached hydraulic line from pedal bracket (2) and fasten at side

 Only on vehicles without code (GE1) Automatic gear control (AGS) and without code (GE3) Mercedes PowerShift.

Unlock and detach connector (5) using a suitable tool

Detach connectors on switch 1, clutch pedal (S85)

 Only on model 950.5/6, 952.5/6, 953.6, 954.5 without code (GE1) Automatic gear control (AGS).

Remove all cable ties on the compressed air lines (1)

 Installation: Install new cable ties.

Remove compressed air lines (1) from the Central Brake Unit (CBU) (A110)


Mark installation position of compressed air lines (1).

 Installation: Replace O-rings. Observe identifications of compressed air lines (1).



Unlock and detach connector (3) using a suitable tool

Remove pedal bracket (2)

 Installation: Check seal on pedal bracket (2) for damage, replace if necessary.



Detach connectors on switch
2, clutch pedal (S89)

 Only on model 950.5/6, 952.5/6, 953.6, 954.5 without code (GE1) Automatic gear control (AGS).

Install in the reverse order

Fill compressed air system until the shutoff pressure is reached

15

Check compressed air lines (1) for leaks
