6 | Remove bolt (4) from expansion reservoir (9) | | |
7 | Remove bracket (5) | To do this, separate the cable ties from the bracket (5). | |
Installation: Install new cable ties. | |||
8 | Remove master cylinder (6) with expansion reservoir (9) forwards | ||
9 | Empty expansion reservoir (9) | Collect hydraulic fluid with a suitable container. | |
10 | Remove retainer (8) from master cylinder (6) | Installation: Install new retainer (8). | |
11 | Disconnect hydraulic line (7) from master cylinder (6) | In the event of sluggishness loosen the hydraulic line (7) at the metal fitting with slight rotary motions and pull out. Collect hydraulic fluid which runs out with a suitable container. | |
12 | Detach expansion reservoir (9) from the master cylinder (6) with slight rotary motions | Installation: The expansion reservoir (9) must engage in the rubber grommet of the master cylinder (6). | |
13 | Install in the reverse order | ||
