Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Loosen nut (4) until the overcenter spring (5) is relieved of load

 Installation: Check guide (6) for correct seat and insert overcenter spring (5). Tighten nut (4) until the basic dimension of the overcenter spring (5) corresponds to the specified dimension. The basic dimension (A) is measured at the ends of the spring without clamping disks.

Remove over-center spring (5)

 To do this, pull the clutch pedal (7) upwards. Unhook overcenter spring (5) at the bottom and remove upwards from the clutch pedal (7).

 Installation: Grease guide bearing at the clutch pedal (7).

Remove retainer (8) and bearing bolt (9)

 Installation: Replace retainer (8), grease bearing bolt (9).

Remove bolt (11) from expansion reservoir (12)



Separate cable ties on master cylinder (14)

 Installation: Install new cable ties.

Remove master cylinder (14) with expansion reservoir (12) forwards

Empty expansion reservoir (12)

 Collect hydraulic fluid with a suitable container.

Remove retainer (13) from master cylinder (14)

 Installation: Install new retainer (13).

Disconnect hydraulic line (15) from master cylinder (14)

 In the event of sluggishness loosen the hydraulic line (15) at the metal fitting with slight rotary motions and pull out. Collect hydraulic fluid which runs out with a suitable container.

Detach expansion reservoir (12) from the master cylinder (14) with slight rotary motions

 Installation: The expansion reservoir (12) must engage in the rubber grommet of the master cylinder (14).

Install in the reverse order
