| Slide 4th gear gearwheel (21) with needle roller bearing (20) onto the main shaft (35) | Lubricate needle roller bearing (20).
| Slide thrust plate (19) and bush (17) onto the main shaft (35) | Heat up thrust washer (19) and bush (17) to approx. 80 °C and adjust until there is zero clearance.
| Slide 5th gear gearwheel (16) with needle roller bearing (18) onto the main shaft (35) | Lubricate needle roller bearing (18).
| Press annular spring (13), synchronizer cone (14) and synchronizer ring (15) into the 5th gear gearwheel (16) | Oil annular spring (13) and cones of synchronizer cone (14) and synchronizer ring (15).
| Install synchronizer body (12)
| Install circlip (10) | Install circlip (10) with zero clearance, if necessary install different circlip (10) of different thickness.
| Install sliding sleeve (11). | The long collar must point towards the output.
| Push on tapered roller bearing (6) | Heat up tapered roller bearing (6) to approx. 80 °C and adjust tapered roller bearing (6) until there is zero clearance.
| Push annular spring (9), synchronizer cone (8) and synchronizer ring (7) into the constant mesh gear 2 (5). | Oil annular spring (9) and cones of synchronizer cone (8) and synchronizer ring (7).
| Install constant speed gear 2 (5) | The narrow bearing running surface must face output.
Grease bearing surfaces.
