1 Clamp transmission main shaft in a clamping device or vise with protective jaws
2 Remove needle bearing (1)
3 Remove synchronizer cone (2) and 4th gear inner synchronizer ring (3).

4 Remove locking ring (4).
5 Remove synchronizer body with shift sleeve (5).

6 Push shift sleeve (5) off synchronizer body (9) and remove sliding blocks (6), compression springs (8) and balls (7).
The balls and sliding blocks are spring-loaded.
When disassembling, cover synchronizer device with a suitable cloth.
7 Remove synchronizer cone (10).

8 Remove 3rd gear wheel (11) and needle bearing (12).
9 Remove locking ring (13).

10 Remove thrust washer (14).
Pull off seized thrust washers together with gear wheel.
11 Remove 2nd gear wheel (15) and needle bearing (16).

12 Remove synchronizer cone (20), inner synchronizer ring (19) and synchronizer cone (18).
13 Remove locking ring (17).

14 Remove synchronizer body (25) together with shift sleeve (21).
15 Push shift sleeve (21) off synchronizer body (25) and remove sliding blocks (24), compression springs (23) and balls (22).
The balls are spring-loaded.
When disassembling, cover synchronizer device with a suitable cloth.

Remove locking ring (45) and take off thrust washer (44).

21 Remove 5th gear wheel (43) and needle bearing (42).
22 Take off synchronizer cone (41) and synchronizer ring.

23 Remove locking ring (40) and remove synchronizer body (39) together with shift sleeve (35).
24 Slide shift sleeve off synchronizer body and remove sliding blocks (36), com-pression springs (38) and balls (37).
The balls are spring-loaded.
When disassembling, cover synchronizer device with a suitable cloth.
