	Remove
1	Remove transmission.	Transmission 711.6 in model 907 with engine 642, 651 Transmission 711.6 in model 907.1/2/6 with engine 654.9	AR26.10-D-0020TSR
2	Install transmission at assembly stand.		AR26.10-D-0005-01A

4	Remove transmission housing front section (1).		AR26.40-D-2002TSR
	Disassemble
5	Remove lock washers (3).	 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).
6	Remove oil retainer (5).
7	Press out drive shaft (2) using a suitable tool.	 Commercially available devices/tools Workshop press
8	Remove retaining ring (10).	 Do not yet dispose of retaining ring (10).
9	Press off deep-groove ball bearing (9).	 Commercially available devices/tools Workshop press
10	Remove radial shaft sealing ring from drive shaft (2).		AR26.40-D-3258TSR
11	Press out bearing (8).	 Commercially available devices/tools Workshop press

12	Remove inner bearing race on output side (7) from countershaft (6).	Transmission 711.685 in model 907

		 The inner race of bearing (8) is divided into two halves. The drive side half has been removed with the front section of the transmission housing (1).

	Clean
13	Clean seats and bearing seats.	 Use a clean and lint-free rag.

	Assemble
14	Install inner bearing race on output side (7) onto countershaft (6).	Transmission 711.685 in model 907

		 The inner race of bearing (8) is divided into two halves. The drive-side half is installed onto the transmission housing front section (1).

15	Press the deep-groove ball bearing (9) using a suitable tool on the drive shaft (2).	 Commercially available devices/tools Workshop press
		 The chamfer on the outer bearing race must point toward the gear wheel.
16	Install removed retaining ring (10).

17	Check play between deep-groove ball bearing (9) and retaining ring (10).		AR26.50-D-4743-02TSR
		 Determine thickness of required new retaining ring (10).

18	Install new retaining ring (10).	 To do so, remove old retaining ring (10) and dispose of it.
19	Press in drive shaft (2) up to end stop in the transmission housing front section (1).	 Commercially available devices/tools Workshop press

20	Press in bearing (8) up to end stop.	 The chamfer on the outer bearing race must point up (toward output side).

21	Install oil retainer (5).
22	Install lock washers (3).	 Screw in screw/bolts (4) to do this. Replace screws/bolts (4).
