Remove/install connection piece of coolant pump to cylinder head

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install connection piece of coolant pump to cylinder head

Remove/install

1 Detach coolant hose (1) at connection piece (3).

2 Take off coolant line (2) at connection piece (3).

3 Remove bolts (4), .

4 Pull connecting piece (3) upwards and out of connection fitting (6).

Push crankcase ventilation hose (5) to the side in the process.

Installation: The seal (7) and the connection fitting (6) must be replaced.

5 Install in the reverse order.
