	Removing
1	Remove coolant pump (1)		AR20.10-T-1271A
	Disassembling
2	Unbolt outlet connection (2)
3	Take out coolant thermostat and seals		AR20.10-T-2460A
4	Unscrew belt pulley (5)
5	Pull off hub (6)	 Fit thrust piece onto shaft for this step, place puller against hub and pull off hub.

6	Release circlip (7)
7	Press bearing and shaft (8) out of impeller and housing, take off impeller (11)	 Place housing of coolant pump (9) under a press for this step and place on thrust piece.

8	Remove cassette-type mechanical seal (10) from housing (9)	 Knock out with the aid of a drift and a plastic-headed hammer.
	Assembling
	Before assembling, clean all parts and inspect for wear. Replace parts if necessary
9	Press bearing and shaft (8) into housing (9)	 For this step place housing below a press, insert bearing with shaft, fit on drift, and press in bearing and shaft as far as the stop.  'Thicker' shaft stub must point toward press.

10	Install circlip (7)
11	Fit hub (6) onto shaft stub and press in flush	 When pressing in, ensure that the housing (9) is free and only the shaft end is supported.
12	Fit cassette-type mechanical seal (10) onto shaft, press down as far as the housing (9) with the drift and knock into housing		*352589081500
13	Press on impeller (11)	Mount impeller on shaft for this step, press on impeller and at the same time measure distance from housing to impeller with feeler gage.  When pressing in, ensure that housing is free and only the shaft end is supported.

15	Insert coolant thermostat	 The arrow on the coolant thermostat must be facing up.	AR20.10-T-2460A
16	Fit on seals	 Grease seals first of all with ATE grease.	*BR00.45-Z-1014-06A
17	Fit outlet connection (2) onto the coolant pump (1)	 Insert top bolts of coolant pump first of all into the holes.
