Remove/install

Open engine compartment flap at rear

Open additional flap

 Danger!

Risk of scalding from hot coolant spraying out

Do not open cap of the expansion reservoir or radiator unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Turn cap carefully to the first detent or slacken one turn. Wear protective clothing.

 Installation:

Top up coolant,
observe filling capacity: 

Remove outlet nipple (1) from coolant pump

 To do this remove bolts (4), outlet nipple to coolant pump.



Remove coolant thermostat (2) together with sealing rings (3)

Push the outlet nipple (1) to the side in the process.

 Installation:

Grease and lay on new sealing rings with ATE grease.

The arrow on the coolant thermostat must point upwards.
