 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove air intake hose from the throttle valve actuator (3) and from the air filter housing.

 Do not remove air intake hose completely.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Disconnect hoses (2).

 Clamp

Remove hoses (2) from throttle valve actuator (3) and seal connections on the throttle valve actuator (3) with suitable stop plugs.

 To do this, loosen the clamps (5).

 Mark installation location of hoses (2) at the throttle valve actuator (3).

 Collect coolant which flows out.

 Installation: Observe assignment of hoses (2).

Remove throttle valve actuator (3).

 To do so, remove the screw/bolts (6).

 Bolt, throttle valve actuator to intake manifold

Check

Check seal (4).

If the seal (4) is damaged,



Install new seal (4).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check coolant level.
