1 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
2 | Remove injection line (10) | ||
3 | Unscrew the pressure bolt (9) and remove the pressure pipe connection (8) | ||
4 | Remove tensioning arm (4) | ||
5 | Press out nozzle holder combination (1) | The nozzle holder combination must not be turned and pulled with a wrench or with pliers otherwise the settings may be altered. | |
Insert screwdriver into the top slot (arrow) at the nozzle holder combination (1) and press out. Place protective base on the cylinder head. Nozzle holder combination (1) must not be disassembled. | |||
6 | Take off sealing ring (6) | Note thickness of the removed sealing ring (6). (this gives the nozzle projection to the cylinder head separating surface). | |

7 | Clean removed nozzle holder combination (1) for combustion residues and perform visual inspection | Only when reinstalling used nozzle holder combination (1). | |
Clean contact surface of sealing ring (6) with a brass brush. | |||
9 | Place new seal (6) on nozzle holder combination (1) | Only when reinstalling used nozzle holder assembly (1). Only install a sealing ring (6) with the same, noted thickness as the removed sealing ring. The small ring surface on the sealing ring (6) points in the direction of the nozzle holder combination (1). | |
8 | Coat the O-ring (5) with a little grease | ||
10 | Install nozzle holder combinations (1) | Pay attention to installation position of nozzle holder combination (1) relative to pressure pipe connection (8). Turn nozzle holder combination (1) with the clamp (4) in the cylinder head until the interference-fit ball (arrow) in the clamp (4) is aligned with the locating element in the end cover (11) of the constant throttle. | |
12 | Tighten tensioning arm (4) and spherical washer (3) with bolt (2) | | |
13 | Install new O-ring (7) on pressure pipe connection (8) and coat lightly with grease. | ||
14 | Install the pressure pipe connection (8) and tighten it with the pressure screw (9) | The interference-fit ball (arrow) at the pressure pipe connection (8) must be inserted into the slot (arrow) in the cylinder head. | |
