Checking

Remove oil filter element and check for outer metal abrasion or swollen condition of the oil filter element disks

Only if damage is severe at cylinder head and at cylinder head gasket.

 If metal abrasion or swollen condition is present (coolant in engine oil circuit):



Replace engine oil and oil filter element.



Engine: change oil and replace filter

Remove grease and scale in cooling system
