2 | Clean outside of soiled fuel prefilter (1). | ||
3 | Unscrew filter housing (4) with filter element (3). | ||
4 | Clean filter housing (4) and filter element (3). | Replace filter element (3) if severely soiled or damaged. | |
5 | Check sealing ring (2), replace as per findings. | Moisten new sealing ring (2) with fuel. | |
6 | Insert filter element (3) into filter housing (4) and screw onto housing of fuel prefilter (1). | Filter housing to fuel prefilter housing | |
7 | Start engine and bleed fuel system. | Run engine for approx. 1 minute. | |
8 | Check leak tightness of fuel prefilter (1) with engine running. | Visual inspection. | |
9 | Switch off engine. | ||
