Remove oil reservoir cap (1)

Only on oil reservoir without separate oil dipstick (2)

Check cap seal for damage and replace if necessary.

Remove oil dipstick (2).

Only on oil reservoir with separate oil dipstick (2)

Check oil level

Only on model 690.6, 901, 902, 903, 904, 905 without oil dipstick (2) on cap (1) and without separate oil dipstick (2)

The oil reservoir is filled correctly when the oil is between the "Min." and "Max." mark (arrow) at approx. 20 °C.

2.2

Check oil level

Only on oil reservoir with oil dipstick (2) on cap (1) and with separate oil dipstick (2)

Clean oil dipstick (2) with a lint free rag, insert fully, pull out again and read off oil level.

The oil reservoir is filled correctly when the oil is between the "Min." and "Max." mark corresponding to oil temperature.
