	Removing
1	Drain oil		AP35.00-D-3501A
2	Remove ring gear with differential		AR35.30-D-0464A
3	Secure propeller shaft (1) against falling and remove from drive flange (3)		*BA41.10-N-1004-01D
4	Unscrew hexagon bolt (11) and remove locking plate (10).
5	Unscrew threaded ring (5).	Do not remove drive pinion (7) yet

6	Prepare drive pinion (7) for removal	 Clamp threaded ring (5) against drive flange (3) with  so that the halves of the compensating ring cannot slip into the oil groove when the drive pinion is removed, making it much more difficult to remove the drive pinion.	AR35.30-D-0458-04A

7	Remove drive pinion (7) and take shims (9) out of axle housing (12)		AR35.30-D-0458-04A
8	Check cylindrical roller bearing (8) in axle housing (12), replace if necessary		AR35.30-D-0440-04A
	Install
9	Install shims (9) in axle housing (12)	 The thicker shim (9) must be installed at center of axle
10	Prepare drive pinion (7) for installation	Place threaded ring (5) with  under stress against drive flange (3) so that the halves of the compensating ring cannot slip into the oil groove when the drive pinion gear is installed, making it much more difficult to remove the drive pinion gear. 11	Remove clamp and install drive pinion gear (7) in axle housing (12)	 Coat threaded ring (5) with sealing compound and tighten threaded ring (5)	*BR00.45-Z-1012-01A
